Many of us who have bought James Cahill’s books for many years, were excited to see his most recent project.

Mr. Cahill who has written more books  and presented more lectures about  Chinese paintings, has produced 12 video lectures on early Chinese painting, from its inception to the Song dynasty ( 960-1279 ).  
Titled  ” A Pure and Remote View: Visualizing Early Chinese Painting ”  takes up 35 hours and  features more than 2,000 digital images. As of this date, 8 lectures have been posted and can be accessed through his website  –  http://jamescahill.info/a-pure-and-remote-view
